Ok, I was asking because of the height of the bus. I'm using the Thule slide bar for my kayaks, it's very easy to get them loaded onto the bus even without a second person because the bars can be slided to both sides so you only have to lift the load upwards instead of upwards and sidewards. The bars are 163 cm long.
